There is a reason the Sportsman is the four-wheeler you see behind barns from Corydon to Scottsburg. The 570 has enough torque to pull a loaded trailer or drag a food plot implement, and the 450 H.O. does most of the same work for less money. Both take front and rear racks, a winch, and a plow without drama. Electric power steering, where equipped, matters more than people expect on long days of mowing rounds or plowing snow.

We inspect every unit before it is listed, but you should look too. Check the front A-arm bushings and ball joints for play — mud riding wears them fast. Look at the CV boots for tears. Pull the dipstick and the air filter; milky oil or a packed filter tells you how the machine was treated. On a Sportsman, listen for belt noise from the clutch cover on a test run.
