The Street Glide is Harley's batwing bagger — the fork-mounted fairing, the low seat, the big twin that pulls from idle. We keep a deep bench of them, from early Twin Cam bikes to late-model Specials and STs with the Milwaukee-Eight.

The Street Glide launched in 2006 as a stripped-down Electra Glide: batwing fairing, no tour-pak, lower rear end. Early bikes run the Twin Cam 96, then the 103 from 2011. The 2014 Rushmore update brought the better fairing vents, linked brakes, and the first touchscreen infotainment. From 2017 on, you get the Milwaukee-Eight 107 — smoother, cooler, stronger. The Street Glide Special adds the 114 engine (standard from 2019), bigger wheels, and more blacked-out trim. The Street Glide ST, introduced in 2022, runs the Milwaukee-Eight 117 with a lighter, performance-leaning build. In 2024 the whole platform was redesigned with a new fairing, new dash, and revised suspension.

Same chassis, same engines, different fairing. The Street Glide's batwing mounts to the fork, so the bars feel lighter and more direct at parking-lot speed, and the bike looks slimmer. The Road Glide's sharknose mounts to the frame, which keeps crosswind push out of the bars on the highway and leaves steering effort more consistent. Riders who commute and run errands often prefer the Street Glide; long-haul interstate riders often lean Road Glide. Sit on both. If we have Road Glides in stock you will find them with the rest of our Harleys.
