Can-Am Maverick. The sport option. Long travel suspension and strong turbo power in X3 trims. If you ride dunes, desert-style trails or wide-open ground near the Ohio River bottoms, this is the Can-Am to look at. Expect to pay more for low-hour turbo models.
Can-Am Defender. The work side of the lineup. Big cargo bed, towing capacity, and a quieter drivetrain than the sport machines. Popular with farm and hunting-property owners across Southern Indiana and Kentucky.
Kawasaki Teryx. Known for durability and a stout chassis. The Teryx and Teryx4 split the difference between trail fun and utility. Kawasaki's fit and finish holds up well on used units, which keeps resale steady.
Honda Talon. Honda's sport entry, with the option of a dual-clutch transmission instead of a belt. If belt maintenance has burned you before, the Talon's DCT is the reason to shop it.
Honda Pioneer. A utility machine with the same DCT advantage. Simple, reliable, and a strong choice for a first side-by-side or a property workhorse.
